DANVILLE — Keep Vermilion County Beautiful (KVCB) is officially inviting local residents, businesses, and organizations to help spruce up the community through its 2026 Beautification Reimbursement Grant program.
According to a release from KVCB, applications are now being accepted for projects that enhance neighborhood aesthetics and environmental health.
The grant program offers financial assistance for a variety of outdoor improvements. Residential members are eligible for reimbursements of up to $200, while local organizations and businesses can receive up to $500.
“We look forward to seeing the creative and impactful projects our members have planned for Vermilion County this year,” said Elizabeth Cannon, Executive Director of KVCB. “Whether it’s a small neighborhood garden or a large-scale mural, these grants are designed to turn community vision into reality.”
Eligible projects include:
Planting trees, shrubs, or ornamental grasses.Installing pollinator or community gardens (perennials required).Exterior painting or public murals.Litter maintenance and community cleanup projects.Purchasing mulch for public or shared spaces.
To qualify, applicants must be current members of Keep Vermilion County Beautiful.
Membership can be established prior to receiving an award. Applications require a detailed project description and “before” photos of the site.
