INDIAN LAKE — It’s that time of year where the snow is starting to melt and reveal the garbage that has been trapped under it all winter long.
This year on May 6, Indian Lake along with 15 other communities will come together to help clean our towns on Community Pride Day.
Communities are looking for volunteers from Indian Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, and Sabael who are willing to come help clean up around town.
Cleaning will run from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a free lunch catered by ADK Heart L&J Catering & Moore.
Submitting a registration form to the Town of Indian Lake by March 19 guarantees a free T-shirt and lunch on the day of the event.
To volunteer, contact development@indianlakeadk.com or call 518-648-5828.
The town is also seeking event sponsors in the range of $30-$100 to help cover the costs of T-shirts, lunches and supplies.
The $30 option gets your business name listed on the shirt, and the $100 option gets your logo printed on it.
Sponsorship forms are also due by March 19 to guarantee a spot on the shirts.
Mail sponsorship forms to Inlet Area Business Association or contact info@inletny.com with questions.
Registration and sponsorship forms are also available at the Indian Lake Welcome Center, 6132 Route 28; Town Hall, 117 Pelon Road; or online at indianlakeadk.com/events.
