In honor of the anniversary on the attacks on our country, students enrolled in the Public Safety Academy at the Limestone County Career Technical Center took time Wednesday, Sept. 11, to not only honor those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks on our nation, but to honor those who made sacrifices that day, as well. They climbed 96 flights of stairs in honor of the dozens of flights that were climbed by New York City firemen and first responders in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
