I DO DECLARE: Declaration oral reading mirrors that of 250 years ago

Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster puts his — ahem, John Hancock — on a copy of the Declaration of Independence minutes after he read the document aloud on the steps of the courthouse.
The reading was in tribute to the July 8, 1776, reading Col. John Nixon conducted on the steps of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA — 250 years to the day of the Cumberland County reading.
