Local golfers are getting ready for the Hospice of Cumberland County Board of Directors’ 35th annual Benefit Golf Tournament. The competition will be May 13 at Lake Tansi Golf Course.
The entry donation is $90 per golfer and includes green fee and cart, one mulligan per player, gift bag, range balls, lunch and beverage. Entry forms are available at Lake Tansi Pro Shop, Fairfield Glade Pro Shops, and Hospice Administration office at 30 E. Adams Street or call Don at 931-707-7834.
Registration and lunch will begin at 11:45 a.m. on the day of the tournament. The shotgun start is set for 1 p.m. prior to the shotgun start of the tournament for more information at Hospice of Cumberland County Golf and mailed to Hospice Golf Tournament, 32 Linden Ct., Crossville, TN 38558-2877.
The format will be a four-person scramble with three flights of teams, a combination of men’s, women’s and mixed teams, determined by team scores after the golf round.
Golfers will compete for $1,500 in cash prizes, along with prizes for Closest to the Pin on all par 3’s and Most Accurate drive contests for both men and women.
In the unlikely event of a rainout, lunch will be served and prizes awarded by drawings versus play.
Many individuals and local companies have pledged their support for a tee box hole sponsorship with their $150.00 tax deductible donation.
