The Cumberland House Hospice Auxiliary started out the year strong. There were six guests at the March meeting which started off 2024 with excitement and a promise of a good year.
The group started planning the upcoming golf outing as well as the butterfly release which takes place June 22.
Cumberland House Hospice Auxiliary invites current members and community minded Cumberland County residents to join them April 8 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fairfield Glade. The auxiliary hopes that potential new members will attend and learn more about their fundraising efforts in support of Cumberland House, the county’s only non-profit, inpatient hospice facility.
The group will begin social time with refreshments at 2:30 p.m. followed by the meeting at 3 p.m.
The Cumberland House Hospice Auxiliary fundraises solely for the Cumberland House and all monies raised are used to support this unique facility. At Hospice of Cumberland County’s Cumberland House, patient care focuses on pain and symptom management, family support and peace of mind in a home-like setting.
