Hornets’ O’Hara finishes 20th at XC state championships

Two Manchester Essex runners competed in Saturday’s All-State Cross Country Championships at Fort Devens in Division 2.
In the boys race, senior Finn O’Hara had a terrific showing, placing 20th overall. His time of 16:47.86 over the 5K course saw him finish with a pace of 3:21.6 per kilometer in the field of 190 runners.
In the Division 2 girls race, junior Sabine Cooper placed 84th out of 184 runners. She finished the race in a time of 21:58.24.
