The Niagara History Center is bringing an evening of history, community and celebration at our annual Niagara Heritage Dinner.
The special event brings together supporters, friends and neighbors to not only honor the rich heritage of Niagara County, organizers say, but also celebrate the unique position and part that our region has played in the grand narrative of American history, from founding to today.
Proceeds from the event directly support the Niagara History Center’s mission to preserve and share the region’s history through exhibitions, educational programming for all ages, and community outreach.
The special event will include a cocktail hour and dinner, silent and live auctions featuring unique items, a special, engaging programming and a guest speaker, as well as opportunities to support and engage with local history and civic-mindedness.
The event takes place at 6 p.m. on May 16 at the Lockport Town & Country Club, 717 East Ave., Lockport.
Tickets are available at www.niagarahistory.org. There are three options — individual tickets at $100, couple-priced at $175, and a table of eight seats priced at $700.
The support is critical in ensuring that the Niagara History Center remains a centerpiece of the community, to ensure that shared history and culture, as well as its continuing impact on American history, remain accessible for current and future generations.
