HAVERHILL — The five swimming combatants gathered for the Merrimack Valley Conference Championships at the Charles C. White Pool.
As a team, Chelmsford High owned the event, scoring 523 points.
But the individual performances from the local contingent were sharp.
None stood taller than Haverhill’s Brian Story.
The sophomore, a first-team all-conference choice as a freshman, cranked it up again on Thursday, winning two individual events while swimming on a pair of winning relays.
Story captured the 200 individual medley, winning by over five seconds. He also took the 100 butterfly.
Teammate Miles Bunyar won the 200 freestyle, while Andover’s William Moulson decimated the field in the 500 freestyle, winning by over 17 seconds.
