Highway 19 culvert replacement project delayed

WINTHROP — Recent heavy rainfall in the area has resulted in a delayed start date for a Highway 19 project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Box-culvert replacement near Winthrop now will begin Monday, Aug. 12.
Motorists will be detoured to Highway 15 and Sibley County Roads 10 and 4 until the completion of the project. With the delayed start, the project is now expected to be complete in mid-October.
