Lawrence 77, Methuen 56
The Lancers were led by a dominant performance from Igor Gonzalez, who scored 16 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and had nine blocks. Obbie Luciano tallied 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Courage Kweku also notched 19 points, to go with 11 rebounds, and Francisco Santana added 14 points and nine rebounds.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Lancers, who travel to BC High on Sunday.
Andover 70, Billerica 38
The Warriors spread the wealth as Luca Palermo had 18 points, and Sam Concemi pitched in 14 points. Danny Resendiz and Cam Gath dropped in eight points each.
Pinkerton 86, Londonderry 69
The Astros stayed perfect against their fiercest rivals with the win, moving to 9-0 in Granite State play and 12-0 overall. Jackson Marshall paced Pinkerton with 34, while Charlie Ludden dropped 22 on the Lancers. Drew Brander pitched in 11 points.
Pelham 64, Milford 61
Dom Herrling led the Pythons with 22 points and three steals. Brady Hegan added 11 points and Logan Dumont grabbed seven rebounds for the winners (7-3).
Girls Basketball
Salem 55, Windham 42
Lily George erupted for 24 points for the Blue Devils. Lyndsay Goetz added 10 points for the winners. For the Jaguars, Meghan Husson scored 13 point and Paige Carboni added 11 points. Both teams are now 7-2.
Pinkerton 74, Londonderry 48
Brooke Benz delivered a breakout performance with 21 points, while Alexandria White and Sydney Gerossie each added 17 points for the winners.
Central Catholic 55, North Andover 31
Kerri Finneran once again led the Raiders with 13 points. Aniela Kwo added 10 points and a team-high five rebounds. Addison Beers had a team-best five assists.
Methuen 65, Lawrence 39
Samantha Pfeil continued to star with 19 points, while Jasalyn Mora erupted for 16 points for the winners. Ranger Rhaelyn Gutierrez added 11 point.
Dracut 62, Haverhill 41
Freshman Natalie Libby led the Hillies with 15 point, while Sydney Spencer added 11 points.
Pelham 61, Bishop Brady 39
The Pythons were sleepwalking through the first half, carrying a slim 21-19 lead at the break. However, once the third quarter rolled around, they awoke, outscoring the Giants 18-4 in the frame. Grace Riley paced the Pythons with 14 points, while Sophia Guinazzo chipped in 13 points and Sophia Joncas had 10 points. Nine players in all on Pelham scored.

Central Catholic 67, Lowell 62
Joseph Musumarra won the 200 IM (2:24.63), Sean Hunt won the 500 freestyle (6:39.03) and 100 butterfly (1:12.58), Brian Leblanc took the 100 backstroke (1:22.37) and they teamed with Mason Hochmuth to win the 200 medley relay (2:13.45). Leblanc, Hochmuth and Musumarra also teamed with William Cosme to win the 400 freestyle relay (4:31.71).
Haverhill 96 Chelmsford 87
Brian Story won the 100 butterfly (57.84) and 100 breaststroke (1:08.66), Sam Mistretta took the 50 freestyle (23.66) and 100 freestyle (52.56) and Miles Bunyar won the 100 backstroke (1:00.37) and 200 freestyle (1:57.25). They also teamed with John Papageorgiou to win the 400 freestyle relay.
Boys Track
Greater Lawrence 57, Innovation Charger 29
Elizardo Melenciano was everywhere, winning the 55 hurdles (6.84), the 300 (39.7) and high jump (5-8) to lead the Reggies, who improved to 4-0 on the season. Brendan Guernard added wins in the 600 (1:34.8) and 1,000 and Gustavo Varela won the 55 dash (6.84).
Girls Track
Haieigh Cyr led the Reggies (3-1), winning the dash (6.6) and the high jump (4-6). Kelly Deleon-Lopez won the 600 (2:06) and Jaheity Ortiz took the 55 hurdles (8.4).
