Dalton 9, Southeast Whitfield 3
Dalton (6-15) took down Southeast Whitfield (1-21) 9-3 on Tuesday.
Dalton piled up five runs over the course of the first two innings and led 7-0 before Southeast got on the board in the fifth.
Kailyn Anderson tripled for Dalton, while Samya Simpson doubled. Simpson had a trio of RBIs, and Anderson had two. Nayeli Olvera went 2-for-3 from the plate.
Claire Miller pitched seven innings, striking out three.
For Southeast, Michaela Pendley went 3-for-4 and had a triple, while Piper Shoemake and Destiney Kenemore had a double.
Dalton hosts Cedartown at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, while Southeast is at Woodland at the same time.
North Cobb Christian 3, Coahulla Creek 2
Coahulla Creek (16-8) fell a run short of North Cobb Christian (10-11) in a 3-2 loss Tuesday.
Larkin Woods went 2-for-2 for Creek, and Caroline Reed had a double. Haley Curtis had an RBI.
Curtis pitched all seven innings and allowed just four hits.
Creek plays Union County on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
Dade County 9, Christian Heritage 0
Christian Heritage (6-15) fell 9-0 to Dade County (20-5) Tuesday.
Christian Heritage’s lone hit was an Ava Parkinson single.
The Lady Lions play at Gordon Lee on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Adairsville 6, Northwest Whitfield 2
Northwest Whitfield (8-20) fell 6-2 to Adairsville (13-12) Tuesday.
The game was tied at 2 entering the sixth, and Adairsville scored three runs in the top of the inning.
The two teams play again Thursday at 5:55 p.m.
Union County 5, Murray County 4
Murray County (10-11) fell 5-4 in 10 innings to Union County (10-14) on Tuesday.
With the game tied at 2 heading into extra innings, the eighth and ninth were scoreless. Union scored three runs in the top of the 10th. Murray scored two in the bottom, but fell one run shy of tying.
Callan Ledford and Blakelee Ledford both hit a home run for Murray, and Charlsey Richards doubled.
Murray plays Rockmart on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Sonoraville 5, North Murray 3
North Murray (7-20) dropped 5-3 to Sonoraville (19-6) in eight innings Tuesday.
North Murray led 2-1 entering the seventh, but Sonoraville tied the game to force extras. Sonoraville took a 5-2 lead in the top of the eighth, and North Murray could only respond with one run in the bottom of the eighth.
Cameron Longley and Kaitlyn Malone each had an RBI. Longley had a pair of hits.
North Murray plays at Ringgold on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
