Cherry Valley-Springfield 62, Richfield Springs/Owen D. Young 49
Allie Ackerman scored a game-high 23 points as host Cherry Valley-Springfield got a big Tri-Valley League win over Richfield Springs/Owen D. Young on Thursday, Jan. 8, in Cherry Valley.
Ackerman made seven three-point baskets as the Patriots outside game overwhelmed the Eagles. CV-S made 10 threes overall.
RS/ODY led after one quarter, 16-15, but CV-S scored the first six points of the second quarter and led at halftime, 32-22.
The Eagles scored the first five points of the second half, but the Patriots answered with the long ball. Ackerman made three of her baskets in the third to answer, and MacKenzie McGovern also made a three pointer in the quarter. CV-S led by as many as 15 points in the second half.
Issy Seamon led RS/ODY with 18 points, including four three-point baskets. Gabby Seamon scored 13 points.
Bailey Thayer scored 17 points for the Patriots, which also got 11 points from McGovern.
Richfield Springs/Owen D. Young (5-2, 2-1) plays West Canada Valley in Utica on Saturday, Jan. 10.

Bella Garlick scored a game-high 15 points as host Laurens/Milford gave Charlotte Valley/Schenevus its first loss of the season Thursday in a Tri-Valley League game in Milford.
Claire Clark led CV/S with 10 points, and Jordan Odell and Carleigh Reed each scored six points.
Kyrah Andrades scored 11 points for L/M, which also got eight points and eight rebounds from Lexi Sutphin.
Charlotte Valley/Schenevus (9-1, 1-1) hosts Worcester for a TVL game Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Laurens/Milford (6-4, 1-0) plays a non-league game at South Kortright on Friday, Jan. 9.

Brenna Bolton scored a game-high 22 points as host Edmeston/Morris got a Tri-Valley League win Thursday in Edmeston against Worcester.
Azaleah Lorette scored nine points to lead Worcester.
Sophie Robinson scored 21 points for E/M, which also got 16 points from Ava Dabreau and 10 points from Olivia Conklin.
Edmeston/Morris (6-2, 1-1) plays a TVL game at Cherry Valley on Monday.
Worcester (0-8, 0-2) hosts Afton for a non-league game Monday.
Cobleskill-Richmondville 46, Oneonta 39
Jenevie Gallusser scored a team-high 14 points, but Oneonta lost a non-league game to visiting Cobleskill-Richmondville on Thursday in Anthony C. Drago Gymnasium.
The game was tied at 29 at halftime but C-R held the Yellowjackets scoreless in the third quarter for a 39-29 lead.
Isabella Swartout scored a game-high 22 points for C-R.
Kylie Carr scored 12 points for the Yellowjackets, which also got nine points from Ella Harper.
Oneonta (1-7, 0-1) hosts Susquehanna Valley for a Southern Tier Athletic Conference game Saturday.

Delaware Academy 82, Deposit/Hancock 43
Teddy Kish scored a team-high 16 points as Delaware Academy won a Midstate Athletic Conference game against Deposit/Hancock on Thursday in Hancock.
Kish also had five assists, four rebounds and four steals.
Micah Simmons led D/H with a game-high 22 points.
Ben Schnable scored 17 points for the Bulldogs, which also got 10 points each from Levi Shephard and Lucas Nealis. All 12 Bulldogs scored.
Delaware Academy (4-3, 2-1) will play a non-league game Saturday against Camden in Utica.
Cooperstown 111, Sauquoit Valley 27
Christian Lawson scored a game-high 24 points as Cooperstown won a Center State Conference Division III game Thursday at Red Bursey Gymnasium.
Cooperstown outscored SV in the first quarter, 30-2, and led at halftime, 56-6.
Lawson also had five steals and four assists.
Miles Nelen scored 21 points and had seven assists for the Hawkeyes. Jackson Crisman scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds. Ty Burkhart scored 12 points. Brody Murdock scored 10 points.
Shamel Green scored 11 points to lead Sauquoit Valley (2-8, 0-4).
Cooperstown (10-0, 4-0) hosts Hamilton for a Division III game Saturday.

Gideon Glennon scored 21 points to lead H-T, which also got eight points from Donovan Garcia.

Jacob Eroshevich scored 13 points for Greene, which also got nine points from Elijah Eggleston.

Joey Paterno rolled a 697 series, and Cooperstown topped 3,000 total pins for the first time this season in a Center State Conference Division II win Thursday at Waterville.
Paterno had a series of 226-265-206 to lead the Hawkeyes. Theo Ritter rolled a 157-234-211 (602) and Wyatt Butts had a 164-193-226 (583) series.
Cooperstown had 3,017 pins total.
Oscar Yang rolled a 205-192-213 (610) to lead Waterville (0-2, 0-2).
Cooperstown (5-0, 4-0) plays a division match at Sherburne-Earlville on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
VOLLEYBALL

Chloe Jubar had 12 kills, five blocks and two aces as Cooperstown rallied from one set down to beat host Stockbridge Valley in a non-conference match Thursday.
Carlotta Falso had 11 kills and two aces for Cooperstown (6-1, 2-1), which hosts Little Falls on Saturday for a Center State Conference non-division match.

Jocelyn Bosc had nine kills and eight aces as the Eagles swept host F-S in a Center State Conference non-division win Thursday in Frankfort.
Mersades Young had nine kills and three blocks for Richfield Springs/Owen D. Young (5-1, 2-1), which hosts Morrisville-Eaton for a non-division match Friday.
