Hazardous Waste Disposal

Conrad Welch, Cumberland County Solid Waste director, sorts through a bag filled with chemicals, cleaners and other items brought in by a resident during Household Hazardous Waste Day last weekend at Cumberland County Community Complex. The event, a partnership between the county and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, allows state residents to safely dispose of corrosive, flammable, toxic or reactive materials used in the home, vehicle, garden or lawn.
