Since then, WSS has won nine straight titles, with the latest coming on Thursday night against Cumberland in the Class 1A Cumberland Regional. The game was originally scheduled to be played in Toledo, but rain forced the game to be moved to Lake Land College’s softball field.
WSS defeated the Lady Pirates 10-2.

Kendra Hayes retired the side in order to begin the home half of the first. She got Ashton Tolen to pop out and Lauren Schnepper and Jude Miller to each ground out.

Mya Friese then laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring Wascher.
Hayes then hit a triple, scoring another run.
Dunaway followed by drawing a walk, before Kalia Friese popped out to end the inning.
Hayes worked a clean second inning, getting Kada Miles to pop out and Jade Carr and Ava Long to each ground out.
