East Hardy’s Evan and Mason Hamilton and Shane Sisler were awarded Class A All-State status by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association this week.
The Hamiltons made the cut as first-team infielders, and Sisler was a second-team pitcher.
Evan Hamilton had a .573 batting average this spring with eight home runs, five triples, 10 doubles, 30 runs batted in, 74 runs scored and 45 stolen bases.
Mason Hamilton led the Cougars in hitting with a .679 mark, adding four homers, two triples, 19 doubles, 51 ribbies, 49 runs and 29 steals.
The duo combined for just three strikeouts and drew 60 walks.
Sisler, who hit .333 at the plate, compiled a 10-1 record and 3.13 ERA with 66 strikeouts in 62 2/3 innings pitched.
East Hardy’s Levi Price was an honorable mention.
