Cumberland County’s Caylin Hale staked her claim to being one of the better sprinters in the region last week.
Hale posted three top-5 finishes in the 100, 200, and 400 meter events at the Colonel Ross Memorial Track Invitational at York Academy in Jamestown.
Hale’s top finish was second place in the 100 meters. She had an impressive time of 13.56 seconds. She was third in the 200 with a time of 28.97, and her finish of 1:06 in the 400 meters was good enough for fourth.

Isaiah McMillan picked up two top-5 finishes in the hurdles. He posted a time of 17.31 seconds in the 100 hurdles. McMillan came back with a second-place finish in the 300 hurdles, where finished in 45.88 seconds.
