HAHIRA — A Hahira woman was charged with driving under the influence after a Saturday ATV wreck left her and another person injured, authorities said Monday.
At 9:19 p.m. Saturday, state troopers headed to the intersection of Ga. 122 and Wells Road to check on a single-vehicle crash, a Georgia State Patrol statement said.
They determined that an ATV was on a river’s sand bar under Ga. 122 with the driver driving recklessly, causing the ATV to overturn on its passenger side, the statement said.
Both the driver and a passenger were partially ejected as they were not wearing seat belts, the state patrol said. Both wound up with minor injuries.
The driver — Alysssa Kelley, 26, of Hahira — was charged with driving under the influence, according to the statement.
