Grinder House Coffee is signing up composers wishing to take part in its qualifying round of Tennessee Songwriters Week.
Go to grinderhousecoffeeshop.com to register for the qualifying round Feb. 7 at the venue at 73 N. Main St. Registration continues until all slots are filled.
Winners of qualifying rounds all across the state will move on to showcase events Feb. 23-28. The showcase events take place in Pigeon Forge, Kingsport, Memphis, Chattanooga, Franklin, Portland and Knoxville.
One winner from each showcase event will advance to a private finale at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Cafe in March.
Tennessee Songwriters Week, an annual statewide celebration of the songwriters and the craft that shaped Tennessee’s rich musical history.
The mission of Tennessee Songwriters Week is to support music venues, create live performance opportunities for songwriters, and inspire travelers to experience the state’s vibrant music stories.
