ANDOVER — The annual Greek Food Festival, held at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church on Chandler Road, typically draws hundreds of hungry parishioners for a two-day event.
This year was no exception. But it was more than just gyros, lamb, souvlaki, frappe, loukoumades and pastries that brought scores of people to the church.
There was also Greek wine and beer, traditional music, gifts, children’s activities and “heartwarming hospitality for the whole family,” according to the church’s website.
The event was held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
