The Reggies exploded for 15 runs in the first inning before adding 12 more the rest of the way for the win. The team’s top four hitters in the line-up, Brad Familia, Deinny Arias Peguero, Kewdy Ceballos and Josue Reyes combined to go 5 for 10 with 11 runs scored, 8 RBI, and 8 walks. Also, Andy Segura was 2 for 4 with two runs scored and knocked in two.
North Andover 7,
Westford Academy 2
The Scarlet Knights were led offensively by Zach Faro (3 for 5, 2 runs, 2 RBI), Dylan Lawrence (3 for 4, 2 runs, RBI), Jake Jackson and Sean Kilcoyne (2 hits each) and Mike Phelps (3 RBI). Gabe Polonsky tossed four scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.
Andover 9, Methuen 4
Drew Pulsifer and Max Dyer combined to strike out 12 batters to lead the Golden Warriors. Dyer picked up the win in relief, allowing no hits. Ryan Jaillet paced Andover with two hits including a double and two RBI.
Billerica 6, Lawrence 4
Jose Berroa was 4 for 4 but that was enough as the Lancers fell to the Indians. Anderson Silverio and Christopher Berroa also had two hits each.
Salem 6,
Nashua North 3
Patrick Ross led the offense with three hits and two RBI, Elias Mercedes, Cooper Deschene, Dom Toscano and Derek Boodoo also knocked in a run. Aaron Masson was immense on the mound, going the distance and striking out ten.
Phillips splits doubleheader
Phillips Academy played a doubleheader on Saturday against Phillips Exeter and lost the first game 2-1 in 10 innings and then bounced back to win the second game, 8-2.
In game one, North Andover’s Robert Brown had a tough no decision, going seven strong innings, allowing only one unearned run while striking out 13 and walking none and allowing four hits. Michael Gilligan, also of North Andover went three in relief allowing an unearned run and taking the loss.
In the second game, Jacob Honor of Derry, N.H. got the win and was backed up in relief by Rishi Rane and Austin Stern of Andover.

Wachusett Regional 13,
Haverhill 8
Olivia Powell and Sierra Jepson scored two goals each, while Jenna Schultz, Cailin Grenier, Natalie Libby and Shannon Gallagher had one as the Hillies were defeated in the non-league game. Goalie Lucia Antonelli made 14 saves.
Central Catholic 15,
Masconomet 3
Cam Donovan had a big game scoring five goals to lift Central (8-5) to the non-league win. Kerri Finneran added four and Sarah Wilson finished with three. Goalie Anne Cashman made nine saves in net for the win.
Pinkerton Academy 15,
Nashua South 7
Hannah Lisauskas paced the Astros offense with four goals and four assists, while Delanie Summers also had a big game with five goals and one helper. Francesca Doyle and Ava Michelle combined for three goals and two assists. Starting goalie Sara DiClemente made seven saves for the win.

Phillips Exeter 3
The game was called after 4.5 innings due to rain. Andover’s Jackie Giordano earned the win on the mound striking out ten. Offensively, Lawrence resident Sophia Florentino and Kyleigh Matola each had a RBI hit.

Boston Latin 2
Jared Cripps erupted for eight goals and added three assists. He was helped out by Sean Morris with three goals and two assists and Aiden Cashman and Desmond Csizmadia, who each had two goals and two assists.
Mike Moschitto was terrific in net making 12 saves on 14 shots and Csizmadia won 15 faceoffs.
Track
Haverhill’s Madeline Goncalves won the shotput at the Weston Twi-light Invitational with a throw of 42’7.5”, which broke the meet record. Cayla Ngunu was fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 34’11.5” Gianna Spero was fifth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.90 which is her best time of the season so far.
