DANVERS — Brightview Living resident and great-great grandmother Marjorie DiTullio turns 104 years old on Friday.
The former Lynn resident has three children, Joanna, Janice and Donald, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren, her family said in a statement.
She was married to her longtime husband Americo DiTullio until his death in 1992, and lost her son in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, as he was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11 and heading to California.
She worked in the admissions office at Saugus General Hospital, a medical office at the former Union Hospital in Lynn and at the Jordan Marsh store at the Northshore Mall where Macy’s now stands.
DiTullio most enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an avid fan of New England sports teams. She has seen 39 championship wins between the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics in her lifetime, and expects to see more of them, her family said.
