Emerson Clark may be brand new to the college lacrosse scene, but she’s already making a significant impact at Endicott.
The Gloucester native, who enjoyed an excellent run at Masconomet Regional, registered six goals and three assists last week to help the Gulls go 2-0. In doing so, she was recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week.
Clark notched a career-high three tallies in both wins against Coast Guard (15-6) and Framingham State (14-11). In the latter contest she also dished out a career-best two assists while adding two caused turnovers on the week as well.
Clark, a freshman attack, has nine goals and 13 total points in four games to open up her collegiate career. She finished her senior season with Masco last spring with a whopping 108 goals and 49 assists (157 points) en route to Northeastern Conference Player of the Year honors.
