DASHER — The Georgia Christian Generals and Lady Generals showcased their dominance on the soccer field as they swept Central Fellowship in a thrilling region game on March 15th. The Lady Generals secured a hard-fought victory with a score of 3-2, while the Generals triumphed with a commanding 3-1 win.
In the Lady Generals’ victory, goalkeeper Lexy Williams exhibited her prowess with three crucial saves, denying Central Fellowship’s attempts to find the back of the net. The defensive line, consisting of Maddie Mira, Presley Pittman, Gentry Dees, and Katelyn Kotterman, demonstrated exceptional teamwork by thwarting offensive advances and maintaining a solid defensive stance throughout the game.
Sage Grimes’s offensive contributions proved pivotal in securing the win for the Lady Generals, as her strategic play on the attack created numerous scoring opportunities for the team.
Additionally, Ellie Lewis showcased her playmaking abilities with two assists and a goal, while Joy Frazier’s two goals further solidified the Lady Generals’ victory.
On the Generals’ side, a formidable defensive unit led by Levi Kelley, Jonah Houser, Deacon Hazel, and Daniel Naylor effectively neutralized Central Fellowship’s offensive threats. Goalkeeper Cason Evans exhibited exceptional reflexes, making critical saves to keep the opposition at bay.
