GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown Peabody Library’s last concert for the summer will be a jukebox jamboree with The GemsTones on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m.
The GemsTones are a youthful five-piece retro-rock band of brothers specializing in a mix of nostalgic originals and hits from America’s decade; rockabilly, blues, country & rock ‘n’ roll of the 1950s. They bring new energy to unforgettable songs by legendary artists like Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash and more.
This concert will take place outside on the library lawn. If the weather does not cooperate, the concert will be inside in the library’s meeting room.
