ATKINSON — Given the success of the Atkinson Garden Club’s first floral design workshop this year, led by designer Cindy Knight, the club invites all interested designers, gardeners, and community members to the second workshop in the series — decorative bow-making.
The workshop is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on April 4 at the Atkinson Community Center, 4 Main St.
Designer bows are a simple, festive, and elegant way to creatively enhance wreaths, garlands, swags, trees, gifts, baskets and more.
All skill levels welcome! If you are an expert bow-maker please come and share your techniques. If you have never made a bow before, you will find the skills to make one at this workshop.
For those who have supplies, please bring wire, wire cutters, pliers, scissors, bow board, fluff board, glue gun and any other tools or ribbons that you like to work with or share.
For those of you who do not have supplies, the Atkinson Garden Club will provide wire, ribbon and other tools. Bring your smiles, bring a friend.
