FROSTBURG — For the second week in a row, Frostburg State’s Mike Montano was named the Mountain East Conference (MEC) men’s basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
Against Clarion last Wednesday, Montano recorded a double-double of 41 points and 18 rebounds in a 95-95 loss.
The 41 points are the fourth-most in program history while the 18 rebounds were ninth-best.
As of Monday. Montano leads Division II with 33.3 points and 15 rebounds per game.
The Bobcats (1-2) host Shepherd Wednesday at 2 p.m.
