Billy Vincent
North Andover Junior
Quarterback
Making his first career varsity start, Vincent loomed large and in charge as North Andover crushed Dracut, 44-6. Vincent ran 14 times for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also tossed a pretty 78-yard TD bomb to Jake Jackson.
Damonte Hiett
Haverhill Senior
Defensive Back
The cornerback scooped up a blocked punt and returned it 34 yards for a touchdown to give Haverhill the lead. He then intercepted two passes — the first two picks of his high school career, both in the red zone to help clinch the Hillies’ 38-21 win over Beverly.
Dom Papa
Andover Senior
Quarterback
Papa completed 20 of 31 passes for 219 yards with four TD passes to lead the Golden Warriors to a 27-14 non-league victory over Shrewsbury. In addition to that, the 5-foot-6, 170 pounder rushed for 47 yards on 11 carries.
Adrian Blake
Methuen Senior
Wide Receiver
Despite the loss, Blake was excellent at Marshfield on Friday. Catching five passes for 121 yards, the connection between Blake and quarterback Josh Danella was seamless. Blake made an incredible 24-yard catch late in the second half, putting Methuen in the red zone.
