Downtown Crossville Inc.’s Friday at the Crossroads returns to Main Street on Friday, Aug. 7, continuing its 10th anniversary season with “The Next Generation,” an evening celebrating the young people who represent the future of Crossville.
The August event will shine a spotlight on local youth through expanded family activities, youth organizations, student performers and opportunities for young entrepreneurs and community groups to engage with the public.
While the evening celebrates the next generation, attendees of all ages can expect everything that has made Friday at the Crossroads a downtown tradition over the past decade — local vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, shopping and a vibrant community atmosphere.
As part of the 10th anniversary celebration, Downtown Crossville Inc. will continue its new Golden Ticket promotion. Ten Golden Tickets will be hidden throughout the event, encouraging visitors to explore vendor booths and experience everything the festival has to offer.
Guests who discover a Golden Ticket can redeem it at the Downtown Crossville Inc. booth to draw for an instant prize and will also earn an entry into the grand prize drawing at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration in December.
Friday at the Crossroads was established in 2016 with a simple mission: to bring people together in Downtown Crossville while supporting local businesses and creating memorable community experiences.
Ten years later, the event has become one of Downtown Crossville Inc.’s signature programs and continues to draw residents and visitors downtown throughout the year.
Whether you’re visiting your favorite downtown business, discovering a new local vendor, enjoying dinner from one of the food trucks, or simply spending an evening with friends and neighbors, Friday at the Crossroads offers something for everyone.
Downtown Crossville Inc. invites the community to join in celebrating ten years of Friday at the Crossroads on Friday, Aug. 7, and be part of the next chapter in one of Crossville’s favorite downtown traditions.
There will be several street closures in the downtown area to accommodate the event. Road closures begin at approximately 3:30-3:45 p.m. and reopen when the event concludes around 8 p.m. The following streets are impacted:

Please Note: As Downtown Crossville continues its exciting Main Street revitalization efforts, visitors may notice ongoing resurfacing work during the August event. Friday at the Crossroads will take place as scheduled, and Downtown Crossville Inc. simply asks attendees to use extra caution around any active work zones, follow traffic directions and extend a little grace as the community invests in improvements that will benefit downtown for years to come.
