Moultrie’s expected low temperature will be 25 degrees on Wednesday morning with wind chills that can make it feel like it’s only 15 degrees. Areas to our west and north are expected to be even colder, according to information from the National Weather Service.
A hard freeze warning has been issued tonight through 9 a.m. Wednesday and a wind chill advisory has been issued tonight through 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Everyone is urged to take care of people, pets, pipes and plants, the NWS said. Newborns, elderly, people with chronic illness, outdoor workers and the unhoused are particularly vulnerable.
