Four area standouts made West Virginia All-State teams in their respective classifications, headlined by East Hardy senior Jordan Teets’ first-team Class A nod.
The teams were chosen by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association and released this week.
Frankfort’s Jeremy Phillips landed on the Class AAA second team, and Evan Hamilton (East Hardy) and Donovan Tanouye (Paw paw) were Class A second-teamers.
Earning honorable mention honors were Ethan VanMeter of Hampshire and Braylon McGreevy of Keyser, both in Class AAA.
