MANKATO — A Mankato man and three Madelia residents — a woman and two young children — were injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Mankato Tuesday afternoon.
Payge Arianna Duerksen, 27, was driving a 2014 Ford Edge with a six-year-old girl and three-year-old boy as passengers when the Ford and a 2014 Toyota Camry driven by John David Brady, 77, collided a mile south of Mankato city limits.
All four people were taken to the Mankato hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Duerksen was westbound on Blue Earth County Road 90, and Brady was headed north on County Road 16, known as Stoltzman Road within Mankato, when the crash occurred at 2:25 p.m.
Air bags deployed in both vehicles, and both drivers and both passengers were wearing seat belts.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
