MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Top-ranked Fort Hill pushed its winning streak to six games Monday, routing Morgantown Christian, 72-54.
All 13 Fort Hill players scored, led by Liam Hamilton (18 points), Landyn Green (13), Gamil Daniels (11) and Jabril Daniels (eight).
The Sentinels (7-5) led 20-12 after the first quarter, 36-20 at the half and 59-36 after three periods.
Morgantown Christian’s Cole Matthews tallied a game-high 23 points, and Coleman Spicer and Michael Day added 12 points each.
Fort Hill (3-0 Western Maryland Athletic Conference) is at No. 4 Mountain Ridge (6-7, 3-2 WestMAC) on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
No. 4 Mtn. Ridge 75, Broadfording 53
HAGERSTOWN — Four Miners finished in double figures, leading No. 4 Mountain Ridge to a rout of Broadfording on Monday.
The Miners (6-7) have won 6 of 7 games. Eli Sibley paced Mountain Ridge with 16 points, Cameron Breighner and John Delaney tallied 15 each, and Owen McGeady scored 11. Ian Duncan chipped in eight.
Broadfording’s Fernando Garcia garnered a game-high 19 points.
Mountain Ridge led 16-13, 34-24 and 57-44 following the first three quarters.
Broadfording owns two wins over Allegany, defeating the Campers 66-54 and 76-58 in early December.
Mountain Ridge hosts Fort Hill on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Bishop Walsh 50, Hyndman 36
HYNDMAN, Pa. — Bishop Walsh used a dominant first half to beat Hyndman Monday, ending an 11-game losing streak.
The Spartans (2-12) held an advantage of 15-5 after the first period, 30-14 at halftime and 41-21 entering the fourth.
David DiNola paced Bishop Walsh with 14 points, and Carson Hamelin added seven. Leading Hyndman were Zach Miller and Hayden Kamauf with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Bishop Walsh is at New Life on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
Paw Paw 79, Timber Ridge 50
PAW PAW, W.Va. — Behind a combined 55 points from Taylor Carder and Donovan Tanouye, Paw Paw rolled to a win against Timber Ridge on Monday.
Tanouye tallied 27 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals, and Carder garnered a game-high 28 points. Carder sunk four triples, and Tanouye hit three 3-pointers.
The Pirates’ Nathan Dick added 13 points, and Braylen Paul scored nine.
Adrian Osorid and Levi Nicholson led the way for Timber Ridge with 11 points each.
Paw Paw (5-10) led 26-13 after the first quarter, 45-23 at the half and 61-40 after three quarters.
Paw Paw is at Turkeyfoot on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
Hedgesville 63, No. 2 Southern 46
OAKLAND — No. 2 Southern battled with Hedgesville for two-plus quarters Monday, but the Eagles controlled the second half 38-21 to win.
The Rams (8-6) trailed 17-13 after the first quarter but pulled level at 25 at the half. Hedgesvile (12-4) took a 45-33 edge into the fourth.
Jared Haskiell and Graham Harvey were the Rams’ high scorers with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Hedgesville’s TD Bodkins poured in a game-high 28 points, Xavier Kirk added 13 and Micah Bowers scored 11.
Southern is at Brunswick on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
