CUMBERLAND — Fort Hill earned its first win of the season with a 70-29 rout of Ferndale on Friday.
Aubry Spangler scored a game-high 23 points for the Sentinels (1-2) and added seven steals.
Caniyah Plummer finished with 19 points and seven steals while Aubrey Fultz scored 10 points.
Geonna Riffle led Ferndale with 11 points.
Fort Hill led 20-4, 43-17 and 62-22 after three quarters.
The Sentinels won 28-14 in the junior varsity game led by Kennedy Helmstetter’s seven points.
The Sentinels head to Morgantown Christian on Tuesday.
Petersburg 57, Frankfort 42
PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Ayden Mayfield scored 18 points in the second half, leading Petersburg over Frankfort on Friday.
Mayfield led both teams with 27 points, shooting 12 of 14 at the line.
Shyane Tawney and Sis Cole each scored 10 points for the Vikings (3-1).
Ava Lupettie and Angel Arnold each scored 15 points for the Falcons (2-2).
Lupettie scored 11 in the second half while Arnold scored 10.
Petersburg led 20-7, 30-16 and 45-34 through three quarters.
Frankfort hosts Meyersdale on Monday at 7 p.m.
Petersburg hosts Tucker County on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
Northern 60, Hancock 20
ACCIDENT — Abby Nelson’s 23 points led Northern to a rout of Hancock on Friday.
Nelson shot 10 of 14 from the field and added seven assists.
Marisa Perez hit three 3-pointer for nine points while Allahna Lacy scored eight points with four assists and a block.
The Huskies (2-1) led 15-2, 32-5 and 48-12 after three frames.
Northern plays Buffalo in a tournament next Friday.
Osbourn Park 68, Southern 45
OAKLAND — Trailing 43-34 heading to the fourth, Osbourn Park outscored Southern 25-11 in the fourth quarter to pull away and win on Friday.
The Yellow Jackets led 17-10 and 27-19 through two quarters.
Joycelyn Ward led the Rams (2-2) with 18 points.
Keyarah Rainey led both teams with 23 points for Osbourn Park while Janey Salinas scored 12.
Southern heads to Morgantown on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
