KEYSER, W.Va. — Fort Hill shut out No. 5 Keyser and had three different goal scorers in a 3-0 win on Monday.
Navaeh Bunbasi gave the Sentinels (4-2) a 1-0 lead at the half with a goal off a Karter Marshall corner kick in the 30th minute.
Sadie Hamilton doubled their lead lead in the 58th minute, putting a second-chance ball off a keeper deflection the back of the net. Allie Hipp closed the scoring, assisted by Kylee Rice, 17 minutes later.
Fort Hill out-shot Keyser, 15-3, and had a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks. Jemma Stafford made three stops for the cleansheet, and Keyser’s Hadley Courtney had seven saves.
Fort Hill hosts No. 2 Mountain Ridge (4-1) on Tuesday at 5 p.m. and is at No. 1 Northern (4-1-1) Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 5:30 p.m.
Keyser (5-4-1) is at Robert C. Byrd on Saturday at 10 a.m.
