The Historic Fischer Theatre will celebrate its 140th anniversary with a Masquerade Gala on Oct. 25.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. and will include a night of feasting, Vaudeville, and glamour featuring The Great DuBois’, as seen on “The Greatest Showman” and the Tony Awards, according to a news release.
“The Great Dubois’ are masters of Variety. This fast-paced, high-energy circus show for all ages, showcasing incredible feats of juggling, hula hoops, unicycle, aerial, circus stunts, contortion, magic, and audience interaction, is all wrapped up in a blanket of comedy. Simply put, it is the most unique two-person circus show you will ever see,” the news release states “Recently featured in Hugh Jackman’s hit movie, “The Greatest Showman,” The Great DuBois’ have amassed an impressive list of credits, including appearances in the Tony Award-winning “Pippin” on Broadway, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with David Letterman,” Britney Spears World Circus Tour, and the movie “Burlesque,” to highlight just a few.”
This event is a black-tie affair with incredible entertainment, decadent food, and great company. Caterers include The Local, Mimi’s Kitchen and Catering, Kayla’s Chic Treats, and more. Rossi Photo Studios will provide a photo booth. Attendees are encouraged to wear a masquerade mask.
There will be a silent auction in the lobby, and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening.
