Always ready to help others, the Fairfield Glade Fire Department gathered up soon-to-be-retired but still serviceable equipment and hauled it to first responders in Johnson City.
This area, ravaged by Hurricane Helene, needs more than just personal items. This donated equipment will help Johnson City first responders deliver much-needed help to those affected by the storm.
Thanks to all our FGFD personnel who helped gather this equipment and prepare it for transport.
Special thanks to Deputy Chief Kurt Wehrmann for his help in identifying the equipment and to firefighters Tom Kress and Scott Hodson for driving the two loads to Johnson City.
