LITTLE ORLEANS — A fire that destroyed a Price Road home Monday remains under investigation by the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal.
Orleans and surrounding volunteer fire companies were called to 11201 Price Road about 8:30 a.m. and encountered flames shooting from the two-story structure owned by the Evitts Group LLC.
The fire marshal’s office estimated damage to the structure at $50,000 and a $5,000 loss to contents.
Investigators said the fire began in a second-story bedroom.
It took fire crews about an hour and a half to control the blaze.
There were no reported injuries.
