Fire damages dugout at Lions field

LAVALE — Firefighters were called to the LaVale Lions Field on Braddock Road Saturday after a trash container caught fire inside a baseball dugout.
The fire was discovered by a passerby about 6:55 a.m. and investigators with the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal said the blaze, which caused about $2,000 damage, was deliberately set.
