Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth, senior Izzy Fall demolished a grand slam to push the Astros to the win and keep the team unbeaten at 4-0. Julia Caruso contributed with two hits at the plate, and was also the winning pitcher giving up two earned runs while striking out 13.
For Salem, Brianna Lucacio was the lone batter with multiple hits, ending with two.
Londonderry 3, Timberlane 0
Elizabeth Kearney was untouchable for Londonderry, tossing a complete game, no-hitter, which included striking out 17 of the 21 batters, while walking four.
Timberlane’s pitcher Ellie Shanley was strong, giving up two earned runs over five innings of work.
Windham 17, Alvirne 2
Seniors Kelly Wright and Claire Ballard combined for a four-hit, 13 strikeout gem as the Jaguars rolled to the win. At the plate, Wright and Anna Mitrou accounted for seven hits, seven RBI, and six runs scored. Ari DeCotis, Kailee Pendleton, Grace Soucy, and freshman Brogan Vickers all had multi hit games.
Pelham 7, Plymouth 1
Aubrin Berger went 3 for 5 with five RBI’s to pace the Pythons’ offense. Caileigh Aguiar was stellar on the rubber striking out nine while not giving up an earned run. Sophia Forristall, Phemi Kerrigan and Evelyn Smith all had one hit each.
St. Paul’s 5, Brooks 1
Jackie Giordano (Andover) gave up one earned run, scattered seven hits, and had 11 strikeouts. Offensively, Finley Cronin (Andover) and Sophia Florencio (Lawrence) each had one hit.
Boys Lacrosse
Methuen 8, Chelmsford 7
Trailing by four goals with three minutes left, the Rangers rallied to take the lead and the win was sealed by two clutch saves in the final 40 seconds by goalie Michael Moschitto (14 saves), who was making his first appearance after missing the last five games due to an injury.
Offensively, Eric Delaney and Aiden Cashman had two goals each, while Jared Cripps, Desmond Csizmadia, Quinn Vuylsteke and Sean Morris had one each. Csizmadia won 13 of 19 faceoffs.

Dover 3
The Astros dominated from the start behind the play of Hannah Lisauskas (5 goals, 5 assists), Francesca Doyle (4 goals, 1 assist), Delanie Summers (3 goals, 2 assists), Ava Michelinie (3 goals) and Sookie Folsom (2 goals, 2 assists) who all had multiple goals. Sara DiClemente made four saves in net for the win.
Pelham 14, Pembroke 8
Ella DeSimone celebrated with her 100th career goal to lead the Pythons to the victory. She finished the game with five goals and one assist. Jessica Phillips added three goals and one assist and Julianna Rocha chipped in with a pair of goals. Goalie Addison Breault was strong, turning away 11 shots.
Baseball
Windham 4, Alvirne 1
After giving up a first inning run, Josh Martino was overpowering on the mound, striking out 14 batters over six innings. Jason Sullo led the offense with two hits, while Jake Sullo drove in a pair of runs for the Jaguars.
Salem 4, Pinkerton Academy 4
The game was called after seven innings due to darkness and will be resumed on May 2.

Lowell 5
Danny Snyder tossed another complete game to lead Central to the MVC win. Kyle Hayes and Brayden Rivard led the offense with two hits each.
St. John’s Prep 7,
Haverhill 0
The Hillies couldn’t get offense going and fall to 0-8 on the season.
Girls Tennis
Salem 8, Londonderry 1
Winning singles matches for the Blue Devils were Mia Contarino (8-6), Molly Mosto (8-2), Chelsey Blanchette (9-7), Juno Battaglia (8-0) and Amelia Cikacz (8-3). In doubles play, Contarino and Mosto (8-3), Blanchette and Battaglia (8-5) and Cikacz and Bradley Thompson (8-2) also won their matches.

Amelia Coyle (8-0), Mia Rivard (8-0), Natalie Olson (8-4), Lexi Doyle (8-2) and Eloise Clark (8-0) won their individual matches for the Astros, and at doubles, Clark and Madison Lagasse (8-4) and Alivia Archer and Catherine Terrile (9-7) also came away with wins.
Boys Tennis

Senior Rocco Crescenzo had a strong singles performance but ultimately fell 8-6. Senior doubles partners Max Condon and Max Sylvester played very well but were unable to win, dropping the set 9-7.

Pinkerton took care of business with the sweep (25-14, 25-15 and 25-17). Ben Koelb spread the ball out with 14 assists while Kayden Layne racked up 11 kills. Junior Connor Balloch helped close out the match delivering three assists in the end of the third set. Koelb also had four aces.
