COVINGTON, Ind. — Faith Perkins and Lacy Newlin were crowned as the 2026 Covington Apple Fest Queen and Junior Miss, respectively during Saturday’s pageant at the First Baptist Church in Covington.
Perkins won the Miss Congeniality and Best Essay divisions, while first runner-up Meleisha Umbarger won for best evening gown and second runner-up Lacey Peevler was voted Most Photogenic.
In the Junior Miss, Newlin was selected for Best Evening Gown/Party Dress. The first runner-up was Olivia Burton and the second runner-up was Airazona Ratcliff. Katie Manzon was voted Miss Congeniality in the Junior Miss Pageant, while Raegan Freeman was voted Most Photogenic.
The winners and their court will reign over the 35th Covington Apple Fest to be held on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Eastern) in Covington.
