Upcoming Community Events
Scam Awareness Seminar. Join us from 1-3 p.m. April 20 at The Center for an informative session on how to recognize and prevent scams.
This seminar will provide practical tips, real-world examples, and an opportunity to ask questions.
Spring Shred Event
Safely dispose of sensitive documents from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, o help prevent identity theft.
Bring old bank statements, medical records, and other personal documents to Fairfield Glade Resident Services, 4929 Peavine Road, for secure shredding.
Activities and Services
• The Fairfield Glade Police Department will be available to facilitate a drug take-back initiative, as well as explain the Yellow Dot program for automobiles.
• The Fairfield Glade Fire Department will assist residents with shredding services.
• Fairfield Glade Resident Services will provide information about the Vial of Life Program.

Distracted driving continues to be a leading cause of crashes across Tennessee and the nation.
The Fairfield Glade Police Department reminds all motorists to follow Tennessee’s Hands-Free Law.
Drive distraction-free:
• Put the phone down — no texting or handheld use while driving
• Use hands-free technology if necessary
• Stay focused on the road at all times

Motorcycle Awareness
As riding season begins, join us at The Square May 2 in promoting roadway safety for motorcyclists and drivers alike.
The event will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Spring storms can bring heavy rain, high winds, and lightning.
• Never drive through flooded roadways — Turn Around, Don’t Drown
• Secure outdoor items that could become hazards in high winds
• Stay weather-aware and have a plan in case of severe storms
Pedestrian & Golf Cart Safety
With warmer weather, more residents are out walking and using golf carts.
Drivers. Slow down and watch for pedestrians and carts, especially at intersections
Pedestrians. Use designated paths when available and remain visible
Golf cart operators. Follow all community rules and stay alert
Bicycle Safety
Cyclists are sharing the road more this time of year.
• Wear a helmet and bright/reflective clothing
• Obey all traffic laws
• Drivers should allow at least 3 feet when passing cyclists
