On Aug. 8, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office presented awards to the Fairfield Glade Police Department at the Tennessee Lifesavers Conference, honoring outstanding efforts in traffic safety across the state.
The Fairfield Glade Police Department received first place in the Officer Category for departments with 11–25 officers. The department was also named the overall winner of the Cumberland Region, competing against 58 other police departments and 28 sheriff’s offices.
This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of every member of the Fairfield Glade Police Department in enforcement, education and community engagement — all aimed at making the community’s roadways safer for everyone.
“These awards are the result of a year’s worth of hard work and dedication from every member of our team,” said Chief Kate Self. “Our officers are committed to going above and beyond to protect our community, and this recognition belongs to them and to the people of Fairfield Glade who support our efforts every day.”
