Phoenix High School Senior Kaitlyn Kittle and Stone Memorial High School Senior Bella Moore have been named the Fairfield Glade Lions Club April 2025 Students of the Month.
Kittle was selected by her Assistant Principal Sharon Miller, and Moore was selected by her school counselor Kim Vashaw to take part in the Lions’ monthly program.
Lions Club Co-Chairs Bill and Mary Green named Kaitlyn and Bella students of the month along with their Corporate Partners Crossville Heating and Cooling and East Tennessee Dodge.
Students are selected to participate in the Lions program because of good grades and involvement in activities during their four years in high school.
Kittle’s school activities include involvement with the floriculture department of Future Farmers of America and participating in color guard.
She also volunteers at a local nursing home and an elementary school. Kittle can also be found assisting her sister’s Girl Scout troop with fundraisers.
Kittle enjoys caring for her family’s animals. She has a favorite horse that she delights in grooming, feeding and riding.
She plans to attend Roane State Community College for two years and continue her education at East Tennessee State University. She plans to study counseling to become a school guidance counselor.
Moore attends Stone Memorial and is active in Future Farmers of America, student government, 4-H, Beta Club, and the Interact Club. She is also active in her church’s youth group, Hands of Mercy Food Pantry.
Moore lives on a farm and enjoys raising animals, spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.
Moore plans to attend South College and pursue a career in pharmacy.
Kittle and Moore are notable examples of students who have taken advantage of getting involved in school activities during their four years in high school. The students were invited along with their parents to attend a Fairfield Glade Lions dinner meeting in April 2025 with all students of the month.
The students received a special plaque with their name and month printed on it.
