The 2024 Presidential Primary Election will be held April 2 in New York state.
The last day to register to vote in the presidential primary is Saturday.
Anyone who has changed their residence since they last voted must re-register to be eligible to vote in the primary.
The Niagara County Board of Elections, 111 Main St., Lockport, will be open extended hours to register voters. Normal office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. This week only, the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Voter registration forms are available at elections.niagara.ny.us, at all Post Offices, most banks, public libraries, town and city halls, as well as at the Board of Elections.
Any voter who will be out of the county on election day can apply for an absentee or early mail ballot by calling 716-438-4042 or 716-438-4049.
