The Effingham County Chamber recently joined ENTEC Services Inc. to celebrate the groundbreaking of its new facility in Dieterich Industrial Park.
For 45 years, ENTEC Services has provided commercial HVAC solutions, specializing in mechanical service, building automation, energy services and building performance solutions. The company employs 98 people and has locations in Peoria, Springfield and the Effingham County area, allowing ENTEC to serve commercial and industrial customers throughout the Midwest.
Construction of the new Dieterich facility is being led by fellow Chamber member AKRA Builders Inc. of Teutopolis.
“ENTEC’s investment in Dieterich is a great example of the growth we want to see throughout Effingham County,” said Katie Koester, President & CEO of the Effingham County Chamber. “It’s even better to see that investment creates an opportunity for one Chamber member to support another. When businesses choose to work locally, those dollars and relationships continue to strengthen our entire county.”
The new Dieterich facility will serve as ENTEC’s hub for its expanding mobile specialty trailer and vehicle services and storage. Designed to support continued growth in this area of the business, the facility will provide high-capacity storage and advanced in-shop servicing, allowing ENTEC to provide specialty solutions both from its Dieterich location and directly at customer sites. Construction is underway, with a targeted completion date of Oct. 1.
Representatives from the Village of Dieterich, Effingham County Chamber, and the local business community gathered with the ENTEC Services team to mark the groundbreaking.
