Members of the Fairfield Glade Fire Department’s recently created volunteer emergency medical responders program were recognized at the community club board of directors meeting last Wednesday at The Center.
Eighteen trainees were in the first and second classes of the new program.
The 18 completed the training and most have since taken and passed the national registry test.
Those who were at the meeting are, from left, Scott Hadley, Chief Kirk McLaughlin (who also introduced the others), Kevin McGlynn, Diane Swanson, Holly Licht, firefighter and EMR coordinator Bob Arida, Tom Liebert, Mike Murphy and Lt. Tim Malone.
