Plattsburgh — Clinton Community College is thrilled to announce that Elijah Carroll has been honored as the NJCAA Region 3 Player of the Week for his performance during the week of Dec 4-10.
Elijah Carroll, a standout player for the Clinton Community College Cougars, showcased skill and determination in a thrilling game against SUNY Broome. Carroll achieved a career-high 32 points and demonstrated remarkable accuracy by making 11 of 13 shots from the field. His stellar performance played a pivotal role in Clinton Community College’s victory, holding SUNY Broome to just 12 points in the second half.
In addition to his remarkable scoring abilities, Carroll displayed versatility on the court, contributing an average of 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals in a pair of road wins over the weekend. The Cougars emerged victorious in both contests, thanks in no small part to his efforts.
Notably, Carroll’s shooting prowess was on full display, boasting an impressive 70% field goal accuracy by connecting on 15 of his 21 attempts. His efficiency and consistency were key factors in securing the victories for Clinton Community College.
