The Kiwanis Club of Traverse City recognized the following as “Student of the Month”:
Grace Bohrer is a senior at Traverse City West Senior High School. Grace is a member of National Honor Society and Camp Invention. She has participated in varsity basketball and volleyball. Honors received include 2x First Team All-Conference, All Area Dream Team by Record Eagle, All Area 2nd Team, Honorable mention all conference. Grace plans to attend Michigan State University.
Ethen Collison is a senior at Traverse City West Senior High School. Ethen is a member of National Honor Society. He has participated in First Robotics TC Titans (captain, manufacturing lead, strategy lead), Marching Band (trumpet) and Wind Ensemble (trumpet). Honors received include: Northwestern Michigan College Dean’s List, Academic Varsity Letter with Bronze and Silver medals, Varsity letter in First Robotics, Leadership Award Semifinalist, Robotics Dedication Award and Future Leader Award, and Marching Band varsity letter. Ethen plans to attend Northwestern Michigan College Early College program, then pursue a Robotics engineering degree at University of Michigan or Michigan Tech.
