The Edmeston/Morris girls basketball team defeated South Kortright 41-30 Friday at the Pat Grasso Tournament in Laurens.
Molly Rifanburg led E/M in scoring with 11 points while Haylie Lund had a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds in the win.
Addy Eckert led the Rams with 13 points in the loss.
Both teams will play Saturday, with E/M facing Bainbridge-Guilford and the Rams taking on Laurens/Milford.
Bainbridge-Guilford 46, Laurens/Milford 27
Bainbridge-Guilford took down host Laurens/Milford 46-27 at the Pat Grasso Tournament in Laurens Friday.
Jayslin and Johnna Henderson led the scoring for the Bobcats, with Jayslin scoring 16 points and Johnna finishing with 15.
Delaney Maison was the top scorer for L/M with eight points.
Delhi 62, Cambridge 23
Delhi opened its season Friday with a convincing 62-23 win over Cambridge at home in the Dick Alwine Tournament.
Natalie Vredenburgh led the way for the Bulldogs with 27 points and five assists, Kylie Cheshire scored eight points, Danielle Ennist had 12 rebounds to go with six points and Tyler Abts recorded five points and five assists.
Delhi will face Greenwich Saturday.
Worcester 40, Gilboa/Windham-Ashland-Jewett 23
Worcester defeated Gilboa/Windham-Ashland-Jewett 40-23 at home Friday.
Hailey Shalor led the way for the Wolverines with six threes and a game-high 23 points while Angel Mravlja added seven in the win.
“The whole court opens up when a player shoots the way Hailey can,” Worcester coach Chris Kaltenbach said via email.
Ashtyn Hansen led G/WAJ with 16 points.
Worcester improves to 2-0 and will visit South Kortright Monday.
Unatego 42, Dryden 18
Unatego shut down Dryden in a 42-18 win Friday.
Lizzie Craft paced the Spartans with 18 points and 16 rebounds for a double-double. Harly Birdsall added 11 points in the win.
Unatego will visit Harpursville Wednesday.

Worcester 57, Windham-Ashland-Jewett 45
The Worcester boys opened their season with a 57-45 win over Windham-Ashland-Jewett Friday at the Schenevus Booster Club Tournament.
Matt Sanders notched a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Wolverines. Elsewhere, Tyler Head had 17 points and six rebounds and Ryan Prince registered 12 points and four assists.
Windham was led by Payton Dempsey with 13 points.
Worcester will play in the tourney final Saturday.
Bainbridge-Guilford 52, Afton 38 (Thursday)
The Bainbridge-Guilford boys earned a 52-38 Midstate Athletic Conference win over Afton Thursday.
James Hogroian led the scoring for the Bobcats with 19 points while Michael Lipani added 15 of his own.
Leading Afton were Ryan Wright and Equan Patterson with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
B-G will host Trumansburg Saturday while Afton will be at the Deposit-Hancock Tournament this weekend.
